On March 3rd I was a guest once again on Jane Degrow's great Travel Queen
radio show. The Travel Queen show is broadcast live every Saturday
morning out of Lansing, Michigan and is syndicated by a dozen different
radio stations on the Michigan Talk Network. Jane
(that's a shot of her in Wyoming) is an authority on world travel and a great radio host and we always
have a fun and interesting time talking. And I've been hosting my own
FM radio show on WPKN 89.5 FM in Bridgeport, Connecticut for nearly 15 years, so I know how hard it is to keep a show interesting and entertaining week after week!
I've been a repeat guest on Jane's show for several years now and we alway seem to find something new to talk about. In this interview Jane and I started out talking about taking pictures at the famous King Ranch in Kingsville, Texas which at 865,000 acres is the largest working ranch in the continental United States (come to think of it I'll write up a blog entry on the ranch in the near future). Then we talk about this blog and the fun of blogging and we also talk about some interesting ways to use the web to research travel destinations by looking at other people's travel snaps. You can listen to the entire interview on the Travel Queen site; it's only about 20 minutes long, so it's a quick listen.
By the way, Jane archives all of her shows on her site for several months, so check out the site for other interesting interviews--it would be great if her show went nationwide!
